About
The Massachusetts Kappa Theta Chapter of Phi Kappa Theta was founded over ten years ago with one main principle in mind: breaking the stereotype of fraternities.
We knew that we could combine our social lives, academics, ties with the school and surrounding community, and our sense of brotherhood and center it all on an atmosphere of mutual respectability.
Starting from nothing on April 20th, 2002 we worked our way up to being the largest fraternity on campus. On October 9th, 2004 we received our charter from our national headquarters, making us the only chapter of Phi Kappa Theta to become national in less than two and a half years.
Today we continue to grow and move forward in our history. For that we look for gentlemen who share the same ideals as us, and nothing more and nothing less. -

Joining
To join Phi Kappa Theta, at the start of every semester we hold a recruitment process called Rush. Rush normally lasts for about two weeks and consists of free events that anyone who is interested in joining can come and attend. There is no commitment to join or get involved further. After the Rush period is over, Bids are given to the individuals that we feel would be suitable for Phi Kappa Theta. Those who still want to continue with the process can accept their bid and begin their Associate Member process. During this period, the associate members learn and further develop themselves into effective leaders. Upon completion of the associate member process, the associate members become brothers of Phi Kappa Theta.
If you are interested in becoming a brother of Phi Kappa Theta, come to our Recruitment events at the start of every semester. However, we do encourage you to make contact and become friends with the brothers prior to the Recruitment times. Feel free to complete the Interest Form and someone will get in contact with you, or contact a member of our Executive Board. -
